5Choosing your colors
By A. Ketterman
The issue with these gpants is the "assorted colors". Depending on the sex of your baby you may not be keen on receiving pink or blue and there is no way to request certain colors when you order through amazon. I contacted the seller, DAB Nutrition, they said it would be fine to order through Amazon, get your order number then call DAB directly at (800)775-5713, give them your order number and specify "no pink or no blue", etc.

5Love these diapers!
By gDiapermomma
I use these diapers on my newborn son with prefolds and/or Kushies inserts. I absolutely ADORE them. Yes, he occasionally blows them out, as he's breast fed, and his poo is very liquid, but that also happens with disposables and other cloths. On a normal day, though, he uses the same pant all day with new refills at changing time. Here are my favorite things about these diapers, and why I chose them over other cloths.

1. They are CUTE. I'm sorry, but isn't that a mother's reason for buying most anything? Disposables just don't beat a cute pair of gPants.

2. In comparison to other hybrid diaper systems, they are cheaper. They adapt to cheaper alternatives (like prefolds and kushies inserts) instead of having to buy the expensive inserts... this was a major plus for me.

3. There is a disposable alternative for refills in these diapers... so if the idea of touching baby waste is repulsive to you, you can try the disposable inserts. Personally, I would much rather use cloth, as the disposables cost just as much as a bag of diapers anyway... so if you do disposables you aren't saving any money. You ARE doing something good for the planet, though...

4. the design is genius. While the closures going to the back instead of the front is a little tricky at first, it's easy to get used to, and when baby is OLDER, will be harder for them to take off. The tops rise up a bit, so if they do happen to leak a little up top (I have a boy, so this is an issue sometimes) it doesn't usually get on their clothes. The diaper doesn't have to fit snuggly... just comfortably. I put my son in disposables at night still, and he always fusses at first b/c of how tight you have to put them on.

5. Someone else said something about the plastic insert not being breathable... trust me, there's no issue there. My baby's little booty stays rash free and soft in these. Not so in disposables. He almost always at least starts drying out... i have to keep diaper cream on him when he's wearing disposables. Also, if the button clips are making indentions in your baby's skin, then you have put the diaper on too tight. I have never once seen indentions on his skin from these diapers.

Bottom line, with proper use (and an open mind and a learning period), these diapers are amazing. Please check out the [...] website. There is a lot of info on them there that Amazon doesn't have on their sale page.

4gDiapers
By O. Diaz
I enjoy using the gDiapers but I wish they had more girly colors. They are simple and comfortable for my daughter and fit well.
